“ If you are looking for a highly authentic experience. Then I would like to highly recommend this restaurant. I order the palace dinner for one with khir. It is large enough for two. The flavors are amazing. The aroma of the rice is truly incredible. It’s a hidden gem here in the Northern part of San Antonio. ”
“ Awesome Indian food buffet for a good price. Very flavorful dishes, and many different dishes to choose from. They have more options than I've seen at other places. Love their Tandoori Chicken especially for the fact they have the smaller pieces without bone. Definitely suggest checking this place out if you're looking for some delicious all you can eat Indian food. ”
“ Wow! If you don’t find something on the lunch buffet you like, you don’t like Indian food. For a buffet, everything was excellent. They bring fresh nan to each table. As you walk in the refreshing scent of, I think sandalwood, incense is present. Service is excellent as are the real plates, metal silverware, and real cloth napkins. I always eat way too much here, just can not help it, the food is that good. If I had any complaint it would be the Tandor Chicken, it was still very good, but for some reason it was not of the same high quality of the rest of the buffet. Might be just me? All this food for less than 12, quite a deal for lunch. This restaurant rates 5 out of 5 to me. I feel it’s the best I’m San Antonio . Well done! ”
“ Recommended by a friend who immigrated from India, we drove 90 minutes to find this out-of-the-way restaurant. It was worth it. This is definitely the best Indian restaurant in the San Antonio area. Since their website talks about their menu being from northern India, I wasn't sure as my favorite dishes are from south India -- but I wasn't disappointed. The buffet includes Indian dishes from various regions. And, they are all well prepared. The buffet selection was diverse and includes both vegetarian and various meats. This place is well worth the drive. Lastly, we need to support these small, family owned businesses. They are a gift to our community. ”
“ My husband had the buffet. It has so many choices! Instead of having naan getting hard in a pan like I've always seen at buffets they brought him fresh naan to the table. I personally can't eat enough to make a buffet worth the money. For the same price approximately I got my favorite dish Lamb Korma (then I get to take my leftovers home). As I'm ordering the lady Tanya that took care of us asked mild, medium, or hot...I've been stuck for 12 years getting mild so I could share it with my kiddos... But I could order it Indian hot this time... Then I realized that my kiddos would want to eat my Korma even though they both said they didn't want any as I was talking through my dilemma, Tanya says I can bring you hot sauce on the side... Me thinking it's like having Tabasco or Chalula to the table... She said she would bring the chilli paste they make in house, that they added to make the dishes spicier. No one ever offered me this before. She brings out my Lamb Korma, rice, and the garlic naan & the paneer naan I ordered. Everything was delicious and the chili paste did exactly what she said in would! The chilli paste was yummy all by itself. And the lamb was perfectly prepared, not gamey not huge chunks, generous amount. We couldn't have had a nicer lunch. We will be back soon! ”
“ My husband and I enjoyed a delicious, quiet, affordable buffet on a Friday night. All the food was beautifully seasoned, hot, fresh, diverse and plentiful. Service was friendly and attentive. Our favorites were the masoor dal (brown lentils), navratan (vegetable) korma, saffron coconut rice, mango pudding, beef meatballs, chicken curry, tikka masala, mint chutney and samosas. Each table is served garlic naan, as well. I was surprised there weren't more customers! We appreciated the quiet atmosphere and were distracted - albeit, intrigued - by the Indian music videos playing and would've preferred no TVs. Highly recommended! ”
“ Took my order to go but so good. We ordered two meals and they gave a lot of rice, an entire plate of rice on the side. Not sure if it’s because they were closing or if that’s just how they portion but it was a ton. The samosas were so fresh, hot and full of flavor. The chicken chili is like shredded stewed chicken with onions in a rich Indian tomato sauce and so flavorful. The garlic naan was hot and fresh and so good! I will definitely be back! ”
“ High Quality food and service. Home made taste, very good variety. One of the best I had. ”
